James owns both irish bouzouki #2 (above) and parlour guitar #4 (below); this is what he says about his parlour guitar:
“For me playing the guitar is relaxing, no pressure, no prestige. My parlour #4 is very comfortable to play, very relaxed. A guitar you will pick up to play and never let go of. The neck feels like an extension to your hand which makes playing very comfortable and allows you to go on for hours. And that is also my ‘dilemma’: lack of time to practise so my musical abilities will never match the quality of parlour #4”
